HIS LAST DAYS

FORWARD

Several years ago I decided to document some of the stories Grandpa told us over the years. The stories are important chapters of his legacy. These stories are snapshots of people who were born in the “horse and buggy days” and lived to see men walk on the moon. Jan and I hope these written pages will allow grandchildren, great grandchildren, and future generations to know something about Conrad and Sadie Knudson. Some stories were written from my memory of his telling them many times. Others are simply my experiences and incidents that happened while I was growing up at the farm. My desire is for the reader to “relive” some of these stories and enjoy them as much as we did hearing them firsthand.
